Bret Weinstein is an American evolutionary biologist and podcaster who was driven out of Evergreen State College in 2017 after refusing to participate in a racially segregated Day of Absence event, becoming a prominent figure in the IDW (Intellectual Dark Web).
His Evergreen State expulsion became a major case study in progressive institutional capture of academia; his DarkHorse podcast explores evolutionary biology and heterodox views.
