American behaviorist psychologist who proposed a radical simplification of learning theory: all learning happens in a single trial, not gradually.
Contiguous conditioning: a stimulus that is present when a response occurs will elicit that response in the future — and this happens completely in a single trial. Repetition only provides more opportunities for new stimuli to become conditioned. One of the most elegant (and controversial) learning theories.
No recorded minds influenced.
