Evil

CBS's drama about a forensic psychologist, a priest-in-training, and a contractor investigating alleged miraculous and demonic events — notable for walking the line between supernatural and psychological explanations.

Creates a TV procedural that takes religious and supernatural claims seriously without dismissing psychological explanations — Evil's ambiguity about whether the evil it depicts is supernatural or human is its defining creative achievement.
