American physician, minister, and Jungian scholar who has written extensively on Jung and Gnosticism — and who produced the documentary 'The Gnostic Jung' — connecting Jung's private mysticism (revealed in the Red Book) to the Gnostic tradition.
Provides the most detailed account of the Gnostic dimension of Jung's psychology — arguing that the Red Book reveals Jung as a Gnostic visionary rather than merely a scientist of the psyche — and that understanding this dimension is essential for understanding the deeper nature of analytical psychology.
