Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series (2021-2023) following Loki, the Norse trickster god, through adventures involving time manipulation, identity, and free will. Notable for metaphysical themes: the nature of destiny, the TVA as a deterministic bureaucracy, and Loki's confrontation with his own nature.
Brought explicitly metaphysical and mythological themes — free will, determinism, identity, the trickster archetype — into mainstream superhero television; more philosophically ambitious than standard MCU fare.
No conceptual posterity found.
