Sleep Token

British music collective — led by the anonymous vocalist Vessel — which combines progressive metal, R&B, pop, and art rock in an elaborate anonymous mythology, performing in masks and refusing interviews.

Demonstrates that elaborate conceptual anonymity (Vessel has never revealed his identity, the band operates as a quasi-religious collective worshipping 'Sleep') can be commercially viable in the streaming era — creating mystique and fan devotion through inaccessibility.
