Dwarkesh Patel's long-form interview podcast — featuring extended conversations with intellectuals, scientists, historians, and thinkers. (Note: same as 'The Dwarkesh Podcast,' later renamed.)
Long-form intellectual interview format: The Lunar Society (now The Dwarkesh Podcast) distinguished itself by Dwarkesh's deep preparation and willingness to conduct multi-hour interviews that go well beyond surface-level discussion — covering technical subjects (genetics, AI, economics, history) in genuine depth. Notable guests include economists, historians, AI researchers, and scientists. The podcast's audience grew substantially when episodes like the Garett Jones interview on 10% Less Democracy and the Geoffrey Hinton episode gained viral attention.
